Each of the three churches in the Aroostook Episcopal Cluster has three representatives on a search committee to recommend a candidate for the position of priest-in-charge for the cluster. Nancy Mooers, Jill Herendeen, and Steve Mine have volunteered to represent the Church of the Good Shepherd. The committee, with input from parishioners and vestry members, will put together a profile describing the three parishes, the cluster that they form, and the communities where they are located. With the help of Rev. Suzanne Roberts, Transitions and Deployment Officer for the Diocese of Maine, our profile will be posted where potential candidates will see it. We will prayerfully await applications! The search committee will review applications, conduct interviews, invite candidates to visit the churches, and ultimately recommend a candidate to the Cluster Council. We pray regularly for our search committee and for the priest God is preparing to lead us!
